Google has brought its Advanced Protection Program to Google Nest. The company explained that the strongest level of Google Account security was aimed at people at high risk of targeted online attacks, such as journalists, activists, business leaders, and people working on elections. That said, the service is open to anyone who wants to automatically receive extra safeguards against phishing, malware, and fraudulent access to their data. The advanced protection programme was earlier brought to other Google products such as its GSuite, Google Cloud Platform, Chrome, and most recently, Android.
