Google bundling VPN with premium Google One subs

Friday 30 October 2020 | 11:21 CET | News
Google has revealed plans to offer its own Virtual Private Network (VPN) to help users protect their privacy and security via an encrypted internet connection. In a blog post, the company said the "VPN by Google One" service will initially be made available to US subscribers who have a Google One cloud storage plan with 2TB or more of storage data on their Android phones "in the coming weeks." It will eventually expand to other platforms – including iOS, Windows and Mac – as well as other countries in the coming months.
