Google has spent DKK 65 million on a plot of land in Fredericia in Denmark, according to Danish media. Google gave news agency Ritzau an e-mailed confirmation that it had bought a 73.2 hectare plot and said while it currently has no firm plans for the land, it wants to make sure it has the option of expanding its European data centre activities, should this be required in future. Google added that it is unlikely to make a decision in the near future.
