Google complies with Dutch order to amend privacy policy

The Dutch privacy regulator said Google has revised its policies and is now in compliance with local law on protecting personal data. Google made several changes last year and the remainder this year, and the regulator said it's now satisfied with the company's privacy practices. As a result, the Dutch Data Protection Authority has withdrawn the threatened sanctions against Google.
