Google developing live streaming app - report

Google is building a new live streaming app called YouTube Connect that will have much of the same functionality already as Periscope and Facebook Live, a person close the matter told VentureBeat. Users will be able to log into the app through their Google or YouTube account and stream live from their mobile phone. It will come with tagging and chat features, and a 'news feed' showing the latest clips from friends and those subscribed to on YouTube. The app is expected to be available for iOS and Android devices. Although the release date is not known, it seems likely to occur before Google's
