Google expands Google Maps public transport information for Lagos

Google Nigeria has launched a new traffic tab in Google Maps for Lagos, reports the Daily Trust. Until now, Google Maps has provided information for users of cars, two-wheelers, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and ride hailing. The new tab includes suggested routes that may combine walking, taking a keke (motor rickshaw), okada (motorcycle taxi), danfo (mini-bus) or BRT; information about the estimated fare range; expected travel time; and pictures of the stops along the route.
