Google faces Russian investigation into YouTube takedown policies

Russian federal competition watchdog FAS has started an investigation into Google and concerns the company is abusing YouTube's dominant position on the online video market. The investigation was initiated by a complaint from Russian regional NGO Centre of Internet Technologies (ROCIT). This NGO complained of Google blocking or removing accounts and videos on YouTube.
