Google files patent lawsuits against BT in US, UK
Google and subsidiary Motorola Mobility have filed patent lawsuits in the US and UK against BT, reports Reuters. This comes after BT sued Google in 2011 over six mobile technology patents. Google is looking to assert four of its patents with the lawsuit. In an e-mail, Google spokeswoman Niki Fenwick said that litigation was a last resort in response to BT bringing several meritless patent claims against Google and its customers.
