Google Germany CEO calls for Gigabit internet

Friday 6 May 2016 | 10:28 CET | News
Google Germany's CEO Philipp Justus is calling on the German government to develop a gigabit plan and to invest more money in broadband expansion, telling Wirtschaftswoche that reaching 50 Mbps by 2018 can only be an intermediate step.  According to him, politicians have to think more boldly about digitisation, otherwise the pace of progress will be set elsewhere.
