Google gets privacy recommendations from EU regulators

Privacy regulators in Europe have sent Google a package of practical measures to achieve compliance with local regulations. The so-called Article 29 Working Group of regulators has been investigating Google since it changed its privacy policy in 2012. After Google failed to implement the regulators' initial recommendations, the company was fined EUR 150,000 early this year. To aid Google with its compliance, the WP29 adopted a package of dedicated measures.
