Google introduces Chromecast SDK for app developers

Google has released the Google Cast Software Development Kit (SDK) for developers who want to build Chromecast support into their apps and websites. Chromecast allows users to send content from their phone, tablet or laptop directly to the TV screem. Developers will be able to add the Chromecast button to their apps for Android, iOS and Chrome, supporting more content sharing. A number of companies have already integrated Chromecast in their apps, including Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, HBO and Vevo. The Cast SDK is part of a larger upgarde to Google Play Services for developers. The Play 4.2
