Monday 7 November 2016 | 08:52 CET | News
Google's advertising sales business in Ireland earned revenues of EUR 22.6 billion in 2015 and paid just EUR 47.8 million in tax, according to company filings in Ireland reported by the Guardian. The unit handles ad sales for Google across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Revenues at Google Ireland Limited rose 23 percent in 2015. However its taxable profits were only EUR 341 million, after administrative expenses of EUR 16.9 billion. These expenses are thought to be mainly royalty fees paid to other Google subsidiaries.
