Google joins Smart Africa Alliance

Google has joined the Smart Africa Alliance as a platinum member. The alliance aims to define Africa's digital strategy to ensure socio-economic transformation. In addition to skills development, Google will use its experience, competencies and networks to contribute towards Africa's development of broadband connectivity, data governance, ICT start-ups and innovation ecosystem.
