Google maintains lead in US web market in June

Google Sites ranked No.1 among online properties in the US in June with 193 million unique visitors, followed by Yahoo! Sites with 189 million visitors, Microsoft Sites with 175 million visitors and Facebook with 145 million visitors. Among the top ad-focused sites, ShareThis took the top spot with 195 million unique visitors, followed by Yahoo! Sites with 189 million visitors, Google with 185 million visitors and Outbrain with 181 million visitors. Among the top ten gaining site categories in the US, the Gay/Lesbian category witnessed an uptick in traffic during June, according to comScore.
