Google meets goal for 100% renewable energy worldwide

Google announced that it's met its goal of sourcing 100 percent of its energy needs from renewable sources. The company said its total purchase of energy from sources like wind and solar exceeded the amount of electricity used by its operations around the world in 2017, including offices and data centres.
