Google offers online safety course to Nigerian schools, adds localisation to navigation and other features

Google has launched its third Google For Nigeria programme with an online safety curriculum available to all primary and secondary school students in the country, reaching an estimated 56 million pupils every year, reports ThisDay. Google has also announced new products and features such as navigation instructions in a Nigerian voice for motorcycle and car driving modes, alongside new Street View imagery, Gallery Go, Google Go updates, Google Lens and Bolo, and Nigerian cuisine from Google Arts and Culture.
