Google pays Russian fine over banned search links

Google has paid a RUB 500,000 fine imposed on the company by the Russian federal telecommunications regulator Roskomnadzor, reports Prime. The company was fined for not complying with the Russian law requiring internet companies to remove links to information prohibited by Russian legislation from its search engine.
