Google plans Europe tour on privacy policy

Google is about to start a tour of Europe. The search engine company will soon send a group of executives and legal experts, including executive chairman Eric Schmidt, around the region to explain Google's stance on online privacy, the New York Times reports. The series of meetings is expected to start as early as September and last up to nine months. The tour forms part of the company's response to a recent EU court ruling that gives people the right to ask that links about themselves be removed from certain internet searches.
