Google pledges USD 33 mln support for LatAm Covid crisis

Google has pledged to provide USD 33 million in new funding to help fight Covid-19 in Latin America, a region hit especially hard by the pandemic. The commitment includes USD 3 million in grants from the company's charitable arm Google.org, half of which will be given to UNICEF's campaign to support the urgent needs in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru for more than 580,000 people through health, nutrition and water, hygiene and sanitation programmes.
