Google rebrands education suite, adds new features

Google has announced that its 'Google Apps for Education' portfolio of classroom-focused tools is now called 'G Suite for Education' and has been enhanced with a series of new smart searching features. The company said G Suite for Education is the same set of apps – including Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar and Hangouts – but designed with new intelligent features that are intended to make work easier and bring teachers and students together. Recent launches include Explore in Google Sheets to help summarise spreadsheet data with automated charts and insights.
