Google relaunches bug bounty programme on 10th anniversary

Google said it has rewarded 2,022 researchers from 84 countries in the ten-year period since the start of its Vulnerability Rewards Program (VRP). The number of total bugs rewarded reached 11,055 and total rewards reached USD 29.4 million. It also launched its new platform, bughunters.google.com, on the occasion of the the programme's tenth anniversary. This new site brings all of Google's VRPs (Google, Android, Abuse, Chrome and Play) closer together and provides a single intake form that makes it easier for bug hunters to submit issues, the company said.
