Google says still open to Nokia using Android

Google is still open to Nokia using the Android OS, Google CEO Eric Schmidt said in a presentation at the Mobile World Congress. "We would have loved to have had Nokia work with us," Schmidt said on Nokia's choice to adopt Windows as its smartphone platform. "We're sorry they made a different choice." He said the option for Nokia to use Android remains option, the New York Times reported from the event. Schmidt highlighted the growth in Android in his presentation, saying around 350,000 Android devices are activated everyday and the number of Android apps available has tripled in the last
