Google starts second Launchpad Accelerator Africa in Lagos

Google has announced the launch of its second Launchpad Accelerator Africa class in Lagos, reports ITNewsafrica. The first Launchpad Accelerator Africa class saw twelve start-ups graduate, with more than 20 teams from Google and 40 mentors from nine countries supporting them. The start-ups have directly created 132 jobs and have raised over USD 7 million in funding. Their products are being used by approximately 4.5 million people.
