Google testing updated licensing tools with 10 news outlets

Google has revealed that it's working closely with 10 different news outlets from Germany and Brazil on the news-content licensing programme it first announced back in June. "Publishers taking part in this early access programme include international brands as well as local household staples," said the company's News VP Product Manager Brad Bender in a blog post, adding that "these partners are helping us test features and gather feedback ahead of a full launch later this year."
