Google to add 'buy' button to mobile search results - report

Google will launch 'buy' buttons on its search-result pages in the coming weeks, the Wall Street Journal reports. The search giant will start showing the buttons when people search for products on mobile devices, people familiar with the service said. The buttons will accompany sponsored (paid) search results, often displayed under a "Shop on Google" heading at the top of the page. Buttons won't appear with the non-sponsored results that are driven by Google's basic search algorithm, and the 'buy' button will not be included in searches from desktop computers.
