Google to add emergency disclosure requests to data report

Google has issued its latest transparency report on government requests for user data, saying it will also add emergency disclosure requests and preservation requests from all countries to the list of items included in the document. In its latest report, detailing the six months ending on 31 December 2014, Google said it had received 30,138 requests from around the world for information about more than 50,585 users or accounts. Although the number of requests fell 4.9 percent from the first half of 2014, the number of users or accounts involved rose by 4.1 percent. The company said it
