Google to introduce 6% digital tax in Malaysia from January 2020

Google will start charging a 6 percent digital tax for its paid services in Malaysia starting 1 January 2020. The measure is in line with the expansion of the Sales & Service Tax legislation in Malaysia to cover digital services, local newspaper Malay Mail reports. Google has already notified its Google G Suite users about the change.
