Google to unveil subscription music streaming offer - report

Google will unveil a subscription music streaming service as early as this week, people familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal. The company's annual developers conference Google I/O opens on 15 May, and the music service could feature among the new products announced, the report said. Google has signed deals with Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group to offer unlimited access to a library of their songs for a fee, two of the paper's sources said.
