Google and Twitter have announced an agreement to display tweets on Google's search results. Initially, tweets will appear on Google's mobile app in English (on Android and iOS) and on mobile browsers, with more languages and a desktop version coming soon. The companies previously reached a similar deal in 2009 but tweets were removed from Google search results in 2011. "It's a great way to get real-time info when something is happening. And it's another way for organisations and people on Twitter to reach a global audience at the most relevant moments," said Google in a blog post.
