Google's Chrome browser to have Reader Mode

Saturday 20 April 2019 | 07:42 CET | News
Google's Chrome browser will have a Reader Mode that resembles the one found in rival browsers such as Firefox and the old Microsoft Edge, according to online publication ZDNet.com. The feature is under development at present, but Chrome Canary end-users can test it starting from 18 April. Chrome's Reader Mode will remove pages of most of their useless content, such as ads, comments sections, or animations to only show titles, article text, and article images.
