Govt to reveal 20 NBN sites 'soon'

Thursday 8 July 2010 | 04:45 CET | News
The Australian government will soon reveal twenty more mainland sites for the National Broadband Network (NBN). Conroy said "It's full steam ahead with the NBN. We recently announced the agreement with Telstra, and we're very close to announcing the next 20 or so mainland sites where we will be connecting and the trucks will start rolling," the Australian reports. NBN Co recently said it will start construction at five trial sites in Brunswick in Melbourne, Townsville in Queensland, Minnamurra, Kiama Downs and Armidale in NSW, and Willunga in South Australia.
