Grameenphone grows profit to BDT 5.2 bln
Bangladesh's mobile operator Grameenphone reported BDT 5.2 billion net profit in the first quarter owing to efficient cost management and reduced depreciation expenses. In the year-ago quarter, Grameenphone reported a profit of BDT 2.87 billion. EBITDA margin was 55.1 percent, which increased by 7.3 percentage points compared to 47.8 percent of the same period last year.
