Bangladeshi mobile operator Grameenphone has launched the GoFox F15 Firefox phone on the local market. The handset is available for under USD 60. This marks the first joint release of Mozilla's low-cost, open web smartphones by a mobile operator in Asia. The GoFox F15 is developed by Bangladeshi mobile phone brand Symphony.
The GoFox phone features the new WowBox service from Telenor Digital, designed to provide customers with free internet access. To access the service, customers should visit the phone's marketplace and the WowBox provides them with 20 MB of free data per day.
