Greek telecom market 2017 turnover exceeds EUR 5 bln

Greek telecommunication market's 2017 turnover exceeded EUR 5 billion for the third consecutive year, with revenues from telecommunications services accounting for the largest share (88 percent), according to data from telecommunications authority EETT. The total investment declined by around 12 percent, accounting for almost 20 percent of the total turnover of the industry, with an equal distribution between fixed and mobile networks (53 percent vs. 47 percent).
