Greek Telecom Minister visits Attica to talk about smart parking system

The Minister of Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Information, Nikos Pappas, met with city officials in Attica to discuss the Ministry of Justice's strategy for smart cities and implementation of a national car parking management system. With the project and its budget of EUR 20 million, at least 20,000 parking spaces will be created in cities throughout the country, using sensors to help manage parking. The notice of the open international electronic tender was published on 19 April and the deadline for receiving offers is 20 May.
