GSMA says no evidence it was hacked by NSA

The GSMA has denied a report claiming that the US National Security Agency used information from the industry group and its members to gain access to communications over global mobile networks. The Intercept reported recently, based on documents provided by former US contracter Edward Snowden, that the NSA was hacking mobile networks. The project codenamed AuroraGold monitored the content of messages sent and received by more than 1,200 email accounts associated with major mobile operators, intercepting confidential company papers that helped the NSA hack into networks.
