GVTC's Hunt takes over as USTelecom chairman

Industry group USTelecom announced that Robert Hunt, GVTC vice president-regulatory affairs and business operations, has become chair of the association's board of directors, replacing CenturyLink Executive Vice President Steve Davis, who has retired. John Jones, senior vice president, public policy and government relations, will represent CenturyLink on the board. Hunt has served in several industry leadership roles focusing on public policy advocacy, and is a board member and past chairman of the Texas Telephone Association.
