Hadopi publishes report on illegal streaming

French anti-piracy authority Hadopi has published a report on different approaches that could be taken to fight illegal streaming. Hadopi's existing system is focused on P2P downloads, rather than streaming. The 150-page report addresses areas such as stronger repression against illegal streaming sites, blocking websites from French internet users, dereferencing of content by search engines without a judge's intervention and a chart of good practice for advertisers. The body is also considering the inclusion of messages about streaming in the e-mails it sends as part of its action against
