Half of adult Facebook users have never heard of 'Watch' video service

Over a year after its launch, half of Facebook's adult users said they have never have heard of the company's 'Watch' on-demand video service, according to a report from The Diffusion Group (TDG). The free ad-supported Watch platform is featured on the social network's navigation bar and marketed heavily within the Facebook app, but only 50 percent of users have heard of it, with 24 percent of those who are aware of it never using the service, while 21 percent of respondents view shows on Watch at least monthly, 14 percent at least weekly and 6 percent at least once a day.
