Half of German internet users victims of cyber crime - survey

Almost half (49%) of internet users in Germany have been victims of cyber crime in the last 12 months, according to a survey by industry group Bitkom. The most common problem, experienced by 43 percent of internet users, is computers being infected by malware, such as a virus.
