Half of WTO members agree to negotiate new e-commerce rules

A total of 76 members of the World Trade Organisation have agreed at the World Economic Forum in Davos to start negotiating a new set of e-commerce regulations, reports Reuters. The members include the United States, the European Union, Japan and China, which signalled conditional support for the initiative but said it should also take into account the needs of developing countries.
