Hanaro Telecom (S Korea), local call service and broadband Internet access provider, had Won349.3 bil revenue in 1st-qtr 2004. Operating profit was Won25.2 bil, up 18.3% vs 4th-qtr 2003. The company made a Won5.4 bil net loss, 94.8% narrower vs 4th-qtr 2003. EBITDA was Won140 bil, representing 25.2% of the EBITDA target for 2004.
