HBO signs VoD licensing deal with Hulu Japan

HBO has signed an exclusive VoD licensing deal with SVoD service provider Hulu Japan, giving the latter's customers access to over 800 titles, reports Variety. Shows include Game of Thrones, The Sopranos, True Detective, Boardwalk Empire and more. It will be the first time HBO series such as Silicon Valley are available in Japan.
