Hemisphere Media Group mulling sale - report

Miami-based broadcaster Hemisphere Media Group is exploring a number of options that include a potential sale of the company, according to unnamed sources cited by Reuters. The Hispanics-focused firm became the sole owner of Spanish-language streaming service Pantaya earlier this year, after paying around USD 124 million for Lionsgate's 75 percent stake. It also owns and operates five US Hispanic cable networks, two Latin American cable networks and a broadcast TV network in Puerto Rico.
