HITACHI LAUNCHES NEW COLOUR MONITOR
Hitachi (Hayes, UK) has introduced the 15MVX Plus, a new 15-in colour monitor, which features digital control, a power-save facility, low radiation emissions and microprocessor control. The new monitor offers a refresh rate of 50-100Hz, a horizontal scan frequency of 39-64kHz and support for SVGA, XGA2, 8514/A and VGA non-interlaced resolutions. The power-save facility results in a saving of some 75% of power when the monitor is in stand-by mode. Cost: GBP499.
