HMD announces 3G version of Nokia 3310 phone

Thursday 28 September 2017 | 10:40 CET | News
Nokia brand licence owner HMD Global has unveiled a 3G version of the Nokia 3310 handset around six months after launching a refreshed 2G version of the classic feature phone. In a statement, HMD said the presence of a 3G radio will allow users to access a number of apps, such as like Facebook, Twitter and Skype, in addition to talk, text and the Nokia Snake game. The new handset is around 13 percent larger than the GSM version and has been ergonomically redesigned for a better in-hand experience, with more space between the buttons so that users can type more comfortably.
