Hondutel posts USD 2 mln loss in Q1

Honduran state-owned operator Hondutel reported a HNL 49.3 million (USD 2.1 million) loss in the first quarter of 2018, with revenues of HNL 385.7 million (USD 16.2 million) offset by operating costs of HNL 445.6 million. Hondutel generated national service revenues of HNL 273.6 million, equivalent to over 70 percent of the total, while revenues from international services came to HNL 110.9 million.
