
Huawei's Honor unveiled the Honor Magic2 smartphone and its first flagship smartwatch, the Honor Watch at a special event in Beijing. The successor of the Honor Magic launched in 2016, Magic2 will be available in China first, with pre-orders until 5 November through Vmall, JD, Tmall, Suning, YHD and GOME, at a recommended retail price starting from CNY 3,799. The official sale in China will start 6 November.
Described as the world's first Magic Slide full-view display smartphone, Honor Magic2 features the Huawei AI-dedicated Kirin 980 processor, 6.39-inch Magic Slide full-view display, 24MP triple-lens rear camera, retractable 16MP triple-lens front camera, Magic UI AI system, 40W Supercharge technology certified by TUV Rheinland, 3D bionic light detector, Dual SIM Dual VoLTE, dual-frequency GPS and optical in-display fingerprint recognition. The device supports Wi-Fi download speeds of 1.7 Gbps.
