Honor unveils health-focused MagicWatch 2

Huawei's brand Honor has launched its latest smartwatch, promising up to 14 days of battery life, 5ATM water resistance and a range of health and wellness-oriented functions. The Honor MagicWatch 2 is powered by Huawei’s Kirin A1 chipset, and comes in 42mm and 46mm stainless steel models with 1.4-inch and 1.2-inch screens for EUR 179 and EUR 189 respectively. It has 4GB of storage, half of which can be used to store around 500 songs, as well as advanced Bluetooth connectivity that allows users to answer calls with the watch even when their phone is 150 meters away.

The Honor MagicWatch 2 also has 15 fitness in-built modes, 13 running courses and can track and diagnose 6 common types of sleep disorders, among other health monitoring technologies. It will be available globally starting 12 December in the colours Agate Black, Charcoal Black, Flax Brown and Sakura Gold.

Honor starts International Fan Day campaign

Huawei's brand Honor announced the start of a campaign called 'International Fan Day', offering discounts of up to 60 percent on its devices. This will be accompanied by a social media campaign with influencers such as climber Alex Megos, travel blogger Murad Osmann and gamers Teeqzy and Puuki. The campaign runs until 14 April in countries including Germany, France, the UK, Russia, the Czech Republic and Malaysia.

Honor unveils 5G V30 premium smartphones in China

Huawei's brand Honor has unveiled two new premium smartphones in Beijing. The Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro are 5G phones running the company's top Kirin 990 chipset and come with five cameras, two at the front and three at the back, GSMArena reports.
