Hoofd Corporate Communications Ziggo stapt over naar NPO
Youssef Eddini stapt op als director corporate communications bij Ziggo. Hij gaat naar een vergelijkbare functie bij de Nederlandse Publieke Omroep (NPO). Eddini begon in mei 2016 bij Ziggo, vanuit een functie bij de NOS. Aan Marketing Online legt hij uit dat VodafoneZiggo – de joint venture – de afdeling Corporate Communications heeft opgesplitst. Interne communicatie is onder HR komen te vallen en externe communicatie onder External Affairs. Zijn functie is komen te vervallen. NPO verwelkomt de overstap.

Ziggo communications director moves to NPO

Youssef Eddini is moving from director corporate communications at Dutch cable operator Ziggo to a similar position at the public broadcaster NPO. He's worked at Ziggo since May 2016, after earlier working at the broadcaster NOS. Eddini told Marketing Online that the new company VodafoneZiggo has split the corporate communications department, with internal communication passing to the HR department and external communication going to the External Affairs department. As a result his position no longer exists

Vodafone en Liberty lanceren in Nederland als VodafoneZiggo

Liberty Global en de Vodafone Group hebben de vorming van hun Nederlandse onderneming op de laatste dag van 2016 afgerond. De naam van de nieuwe onderneming luidt VodafoneZiggo Group. De moederbedrijven houden beide 50 procent en zullen de joint venture niet consolideren in hun cijfers.

Youssef Eddini treedt per 1 mei 2016 in dienst bij Ziggo als director corporate communications. Hij volgt Martijn Jonker op, die Ziggo begin dit jaar heeft verlaten om eenzelfde functie te vervullen bij de Telegraaf Media Groep (TMG). Eddini is nu nog hoofd Marketing & Communicatie bij de NOS.
